Jenny Wheeler is not your average bear. Unless average bears play ukulele and like to juggle. This is Jenny’s first summer as Indian Creek Camp’s Nature Center Director, but this is her 6th summer working for camp. She’s served as a lifeguard, counselor, and nature center director at Camp Wakonda, in Wisconsin (She thinks cheese curds are the best food ever invented). When Jenny isn’t studying for her Biology Education classes at Southern Adventist University, she swims, volunteers at the Tennessee aquarium, and makes artwork for friends and family. She’ll tell you that she wants to be a dolphin trainer someday, but her ultimate goal is to connect kids with God’s Creation through her passions of water, animals, and education.
