Chris Wilhelm is very humbled by the opportunity to work at ICC this summer as the Staff Chaplain. Ever since he can remember, he has wanted to work with young people to bring them closer to Christ. He has been able to do this in his positions as a boys counselor and director at Camp Kulaqua in Florida and during his stints as a classroom teacher and principal in South Carolina, Memphis, and now in Madison, TN. He is excited to minister to this year’s amazing staff at ICC.
Chris has been married to his beautiful wife Shannon for 7 years. Shannon is currently the 1st grade teacher in Madison, but will soon be giving up the classroom for the farm life, as she is rekindling the Madison Farm at Madison Academy. They have two Great Danes, Gus and Hank, and are expecting their first child this summer through a God-led adoption. Chris enjoys baseball, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and loved ones. The thing that Chris enjoys doing the most at ICC is searching for his discs while attempting to conquer the disc golf course!
