Anya Newell is 18 years old and extremely excited to be starting her first official year as ICC staff as the staff babysitter. However, this will be her 19th summer at camp. She is currently a senior in high school and is planning to attend Lee University this fall to major in Art Education with a minor in Music.
Anya participates in her home church’s music ministries. She enjoys playing sports, making art, singing, and helping people. Her favorite activity at ICC has always been crafts and ceramics, but she actually loves most all of the activities at camp. Anya’s favorite chapter of the Bible is 1 Corinthians 13 because it teaches the importance of love.
